BE A BLESSING

I don't judge a man by the friends he has but rather by his enemies. Its the things that are up against you that shows your true character not those that are for you. Life has phases and levels and with every level the are challenges of that league, say when you are four your biggest challenge would probably be to convince your mother to let you have ice-cream before supper as opposed to your 16year old self where the convincing will come when you want to go out with friends or stay up late.My point is how you deal with these everyday challenges regardless of your level, speaks volume about who you are and what you will become.

I know someone very close to me who has gone through so much and every time I look at them I think to myself: what a blessing! He is  David's words personified when he said the Lord has made me a wonder! He is the kind of person who I think has had so much coming to them and still has their head held high and fighting on. From being rejected by his father to the people he trusted. I will like to think he has had it  harder than me on many levels and is way younger than me. I have never told him this but think its time I told him, the are moments when I see him I get all teary because I am so proud of him.

He has never given me anything tangible but his life is more than enough. He touches me just by being, how he handle life and its many challenges, how he manage a smile in the midst of turmoil and his ability to go on no matter what. I know that he is a blessing not only to me but to many others, others who will never  even get to know what he's been through or what he is going through but I know he blesses them just as much! If nothing aspire to be a blessing,to your family, friends and the human race as a whole you will be surprised as to how much difference you will make in the world. This young man is indeed a blessing.
