THE FOOD

If you get to the age where you wonder what girls do at tea parties/bridal showers/baby showers etc.This is how your mother does it. Its 2011  by the time you throw one for your friends or your girlfriend/wife attends one then you will have an idea as to what and how we used to rock ours!

I know things change and that when you get to do this you will be having more facilities and more ideas but I thought it will be fun to share with you my experience and who knows maybe you will use some of it one day.Today I will show you the food that is traditionally served at such occasions.If you not having a braai as this is what most people will prefer you'll have your finger food. I personally prefer this cause I am not good at cooking and the whole braaing thing is just a lot of work and usually means you must involve man. To be honest I'll rather we just have the girls only as this is really a girl thing.

In this case we booked a venue chose a menu and this is what was served, It was an outdoor event meaning it was very casual and laid back

Pate and Biscuits

Cup Cakes,marshmallow yogurt tar lets and milk tar lets

Vegetarian Quiche Tar lets(your aunt Lerato' fav)

Mint cucumber sandwiches(They got "Reese" very upset in the movie "brown sugar"  lol!) Ritz egg sandwiches
