The two things my father never stoped emphasising while I was growing up are: The fear of God, putting him first in everything and sticking together as a family at all cost. I am eternally grateful for this, I see daily how this two lessons have and continue to make my life easy. I get moments were I would close myself in my bedroom talk to the Lord, it is in this moments I find peace that surpasses understanding.I then face the world with boldness knowing I have a force bigger than myself backing me up. Then the is my family, my siblings and I have so much love for each other. One of the things I appreciate about them is they tell it like it is. I would not trade our bond for anything in the world. Just yesterday alone the first call I got was my older sister telling me she was at my gate,and then later last night I needed to offload and spoke with to them lengthily about a decision I made that I was not so sure about. Our sticking together allows me, personally a safe corner to go to now and again. Dad is not as young as he used to be but because he taught us the above, I know for sure we will be fine!
