CHURCH GIRL AND FASHION

I met a guy,you know girl meets boy and he chats her up and blah blah blah..... here is how our conversation went. After the introduction and the smiles and me being polite as always lol. He asked what I'll doing for the weekend. I explained briefly that I'll be at the coca cola dome for a cell leader's conference with  Pastor Chris and he is on some: are you a church girl? I smile proudly and said yes, I am a church girl and he on some, you could have fooled me.......! and I'm thinking flip, what did I do now to misrepresent the church? I mean I am all smiles doing my christian duty and talking politely to the brother. Then I ask still with a smile on my face. Why would he say that, what did I do to make him think I don't belong to the church? Then with a sarcastic voice he said the way you are dressed. I said but......and he simply said church folks don't look like you. I could have mistaken his talk to flirting but I am sure I saw a certain conviction in his face that I was fake. He was convinced that church people dress different from me and that I should stop pretending to be something I am not. Instead of being offended and telling him exactly what I think of  his statement, I smiled and kept quiet. Its winter now I was all covered so that was not the issue and I had a coat on, I was not in anyway showing flesh not that, that is a sin but you know people and standards. I just then came to the conclusion that he thinks church people are boring and have no sense of style. I love clothes I especially love winter clothes.its my favourite season. I love to dress up and look warm in winter. After speaking to this young and I must say fine man  with a fine car to match.I knew we have work to do as the body of Christ, the gospel has to be propagated and people need to understand that Christianity and the church,is a place of liberty. The bible says whom the son set free is free indeed. I did not get the chance to speak long with this guy but I'll be praying for him that he gets to find the gospel(good news) and that his mindset is changed,cause boy his missing out! So I am going to share with you some of mommy's fav looks, I know by the time you read this, fashion will have evolved but I hope you will like some of my clothes. I will try to take as many photos as possible especially this weekend.
